Hi- I’m Alex!
I’m the builder behind The Strategic Disciple.
This project began as a quiet offering; a way of seeking clarity and formation in a noisy world.
I’m a husband and a homeschooling father of four.
My background spans aviation, strategy, communications, and ministry- but this isn’t a résumé.
It’s a witness.
Over time, those threads began to hold together: scouting trails, sacred rhythms, long flights, and quiet (often unseen) work.
What emerged wasn’t a platform or ecosystem so much as a way of seeing, and from that, a way of building.
The work here reflects that posture.
It isn’t meant to be consumed quickly or explained all at once, but encountered, returned to, and lived with.
I write from the pews, not the pulpit; trying to name what is often felt but not said, and to make it usable in real life.
If you’re curious, you’re welcome to explore.
The Strategic Disciple lives primarily on Substack, with projects and tools gathered here as they take shape.
